Jefferson, Wisconsin USA
Mary Lou Santovec is a Wisconsin native and can't imagine living anywhere else (except maybe a warm climate for a few months during the winter). Taking a rather circuitous route through higher education, she's followed curiosity about things into an eclectic series of professional careers including an elementary physical education and science teacher, a college admissions officer, a human resources administrator, an editor and an author.
She currently writes about every topic imaginable (banking, higher education, interior design, gardening, health, and aging to name just a few) for various clients.
She is a board member of The Wisconsin Center for the Book.
She writes from her home in Jefferson, Wisconsin that she shares with her husband, Rick, piles of books, and a long to-do list. In her spare time she reads, attempts to create collage and assemblage pieces, tries not to kill plants, and threatens to clean the house.
